Stormy Sunset Maternity Session at Dunraven Bay ~ Chloe, Richard and Robbie

After rescheduling twice due to the awful British weather, we were rewarded with the most beautiful sunset for Chloe’s maternity photoshoot before the storm clouds rolled in. Since the three of them lived in Wales, I ventured over the bridge to explore the beautiful Dunraven Bay with them. I was absolutely blown away by how gorgeous it was! There are so many glorious beaches in Wales, but I think this might take the cake as the most stunning one close to Bristol.

We explored the clifftops, running around as the sun began to set. Then we ventured further onto the beach and Chloe braved the freezing winds to bare her bump and take some time to truly soak into the beauty of pregnancy. It can be really daunting, the idea of stripping off and baring yourself during your photoshoot, but I promise you will come out of it feeling so unbelievably empowered and in love with your body. I always encourage people to push their limits during their session, as the last thing I want is for you to come out of it with regrets. We always regret what we didn’t capture, rather than the moments we did.

Chloe looked an absolute dream in one of the robes borrowed from my client closet (which travelled to me all the way from America!) and ran through the waves and strolled along the beach with me. It was truly a dream of an evening, and we managed to just about avoid the rainstorm slowly rolling in over the hills - and when I say barely I mean it! I think I was in my car for maybe about 3 minutes before the heavens opened and the beach was absolutely soaked.
